Rajendra Mane College of Engineering & Technology was established in the year 1998. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and
Directorate of Technical Education, Maharastra Rajya and Affiliated to Mumbai University.RMCET is pioneer in starting Information Technology branch.

Prabodhan Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha :

In 1995, under the able chairmanship of Honorable Shri.Ravindra M Mane, Sitting MLA and Ex-Minister of the State Finance & Planning, Development, Irrigation, Water Supply & Sanitation (Govt. of Maharashtra), Ex-Guardian Minister Ratnagiri District founded the Prabodhan Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha. The sole object of the sanstha was to promote the education of the people of the region and also towards welfare & uplift of human society.
Having served the golden ideal of education for the past seven years, the sanstha is running the following institutions:

1) Kai.Sau.Meenatai Thakeray High School, Sadavali
2) Kai.Sau.Meenatai Thakeray Junior Science College, Sadavali
3) Rajendra Mane College of Engineering & Technology, Ambav.
