Prabodhan Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha is a registered public charitable trust (Regi. No. E-697 (Ratnagiri), dated 7th June 1995) registered under the public trust act 1950. The trust has been carrying on its activities for the last twelve years mainly in the field of education. The sole objective of the Sanstha is to promote education for the people of the region and also work for the welfare and upliftment of society.

 Rajendra Mane College of Engineering and Technology:

Sanstha is running in its 16th year, a degree engineering college at Ambav (Devrukh) approved by AICTE, New Delhi, recognised by Directorate of Tech. Education, Maharashtra and affiliated to Mumbai University since 1998 running in its 14th year.

RMCET is located on 46.25 acres of land at village Ambav, about 7 Km. from Devrukh city. The campus includes Administrative, Instructional Area, Work Shop, Laboratories, Library and Residential buildings etc. area admeasuring 20461 Sq.mtrs. This College is a fully developed residential engineering college. At present there are over 1200 students studying in the following five branches viz. Computer, Electronics & Telecommunication, Automobile, Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology. This college has earned a reputation as being among the best colleges in Konkan Region.

RMCET has well equipped Laboratories, Computer Departments, Workshop and Library to impart best technical education to the students.

RMCET has qualified staff strength of 65 Teaching Faculty and 80 Non-Teaching employees. The employees are paid salary as per the pay scale approved by UGC / AICTE and the D.A is paid as prescribed by State Govt. from time to time. Teaching Faculty is selected by the properly constituted Selection Committee appointed by the University of Mumbai.

The overall result of RMCET is well above the University average result.

Numbers of students from this college have achieved merit by becoming rank holders in Mumbai University.

The students of RMCET are developing innovative projects for the Industry as a part of their academic curriculum. Many of these projects have been widely appreciated and received media publicity and awards. For example the students of Automobile Engineering have developed a Six Stroke Engine for Two Wheelers and won first prize in Dipex 2006 (State Level Competition at Latur).  

Students are participating in various State Level Paper Presentations and are winning prizes.

Students of RMCET are participating in University Inter Collegiate Sports Competitions and have won prizes.

Indira Institute of Pharmacy:

            IIP is located on 6 acres of land at village Sadavali, Devrukh, Tal-Sangmeshwar, Dist-Ratnagiri. It is about 2 kms. from Devrukh City. The college is approved by AICTE New Delhi, affiliated to Mumbai University and recognized by DTE Government of Maharashtra. Established in the year 2008.

IIP has appointed qualified teaching & non-teaching staff. The employees are paid salary as per the pay scale approved by UGC / AICTE and the D.A is paid as prescribed by State Govt. from time to time. The Teaching Faculty is selected by the properly constituted Selection Committee.

Kai. Sau. Meenatai Thakaray High School:

This School is located on 10 Acres of land at village Sadavali (Devrukh) 3 K.m. from Devrukh city. The School is approved as a Marathi Medium School (Semi English 8th Standard onwards) by Dy. Director, Edu. Dept. Kolhapur. The campus includes Administrative area, School Building, Multipurpose Hall, Library, Laboratories and Sports Ground with a running track. At present there are around 300 students studying from 5th to 10th standard of which 50% are Boys & 50 % are Girls. The School has become a Govt. Aided (partial grant) school from July 2004.
The school staff strength consists of 9 teaching staff members and 3 non-teaching employees. The employees are paid salary as per the pay scale approved by State Govt. The School has well equipped laboratories, library as per norms fixed by the State Government.
The School has secured first rank in its specified group at district level on the evaluation done by the Zila Parishad of all such schools in Ratnagiri District for the academic year 2005-06. This award was given by Zila Parishad Ratnagiri under its Sane Guruji Gunvatta Vikas Program.  
Sanstha arranges medical camps on its own or with the help of other organisations. Sanstha also arranges camps like Eye Testing, Blood Donation, International Women’s Day Health Care Camp, Pulse Polio Immunisation Programme, Hepatitis “B” Immunisation  & Leprosy Elimination Day etc. Also we give financial assistance to the people for Heart & Cancer Operations.
Thus it can be seen from the above that the trust has sufficient experience in the field of education and is capable of undertaking successfully new such proposals in the field of education.
