Intellectual Property Rights Cell

Empowering innovators to protect their creations. Guiding students and faculty through patents, copyrights, and trademarks.

About IPR Cell

The Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Cell at RMCET aims to create a conducive environment for the development and protection of intellectual property. We provide a platform for faculty and students to potentialize their research findings and creative works into legally protected assets like patents and copyrights.

Innovation is the cornerstone of engineering, and safeguarding these innovations is crucial for commercialization and academic recognition.

Objectives

To disseminate knowledge about various forms of IPR (Patents, Copyrights, Trademarks) among the campus community.

Filing Guidance

To provide step-by-step training and assistance in the process of patent searching, drafting, and filing.

IP Protection

To assist researchers in identifying protectable aspects of their work before publication to avoid loss of novelty.

Commercialization

To foster an ecosystem where intellectual property can be managed, protected, and eventually commercialized.
