The department of Automobile Engineering was started in the year 1999 affiliated to University of Mumbai with an intake of 30 per year and has made significant achievements during this journey. Department has a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty members in diversified streams and have published papers in reputed national and international journals. The courses are designed to create engineers with strong modeling, experimental and design ability with excellent communication and team working skills. Students are welcomed with warm greetings with an aim of creating automotive leaders of tomorrow. The department prides in its academic achievements by bagging various medals with numerous university ranks. The department has state-of-the-art laboratories which include numerous I C engines and in detail apparatus to learn about all mechanisms of automotive which provide hands-on experience to meet the learning requirements of students. The Department has variety of MOUs as a part of Industry Institute Relation. Our alumni are employed by automotive giants such as Jaguar Land Rover, Volkswagen, Hyundai, OLA Electric, Force Motors, McLaren Automotive UK, Air India, Tata Motors and OEM suppliers like BOSCH.
