The Department of First Year Engineering was established in 1998. It lays the foundation for all engineering disciplines. The department has well-equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, and Communication Skills. A dedicated English Language Laboratory has been established to enhance the presentation and communication techniques of the students, which is crucial for their overall professional development. The department focuses on strong fundamentals in applied sciences to support the core engineering branches.
